Almost Vegas

I am going to Vegas with a friend/co-worker of mine. We are leaving in 3 days. I can't wait! We will be celebrating her birthday and I will be celebrating mine too. Hooray.
I finally got to snowboard. Those photos are on Facebook. Plus I guess I will add them here.

New Start

Well 2008 was filled with many things. Some good, some not so good. Overall I think it could be listed as a good year. Life is definatly worth celebrating even if things do not follow the plans we make for it. A quick recap of some great 2008 highlights things I can think of:

Went backpacking for the first time
Started rock climbing
Rode on motorcycles (alot)
Went to the NJ shore (many times)
Took a trip to Disney with Marty
Went to NYC with college roommies
Took a Trip to DC with Marty
Rediscovered antiquing with Marty
Took Sandy on a river Kayak adventure
Visited Baltimore to visit my friend Joe twice
Created a podcast with friends
Met my favorite podcasters

Much more that I cannot remember right now!

2009 is looking to be a good year!
I have already:
Hiked with Marty and Sandy in the Wisahickon (Fairmount) park on New Year's day
Took Sandy to the beach, which happened to be the coldest I have been to the beach.
Also I started attending classes to finally get my Bachelor's in Graphic Design :)

No connection

There has not been any updates on my blogg not due to a lack of excitment in my life but instead a lack of internet. I have moved to my mom's land of no internet. So I am sure posts will be few and far between.
Last weekend I went to NYC with my roomates from college. We went to see Tony and Tina's wedding. It was a blast. I have some photos but no real way on linking them on here right now. My friend Robert met up with us and walked and talked with me for a while. Loads of fun. I had a Papa beard cream puff which was awesome! So good. Tons of fun.
Yesterday Saturday Marty and I took a big road trip to Campmor in NJ. We bought each other some early Christmas gifts. I got a new pair of climbing shoes...yes again. But these seem like they are the ones! I also got a pair of ski gloves. I bought him a camping sleep pad and something else. I can't wait to camp again.
Next weekend I go with my friend Kelly to visit our friend Joe in Baltimore. Fun :)

Weekend update

This weekend past was another good one. I am still sick and was during the weekend but that doesn't stop the fun...Well in this case atleast.

Saturday Marty and I moved my dresser to my mom's house. I am moving back home yes a shame. It should be good though. After that we went past Mom's to the "real Lancaster" I took Marty to the outlets. We walked around had a good time being in each others wacky company. Then for dinner we went to a Thai restaurant; very good.
Sunday we took the motorcycle around New Hope for some antiquing. Didn't find anything amazing but still had a blast. We drove all around in the nice crisp fall weather. My new jacket kept me snuggly warm thanks to my honey. (Early Christmas gift) We finished with dinner at Chipolta sp? Grill yummy! At that time it was about 8 or 9 pm and 40 degrees. Ohh yeah I can take cold weather riding. This post is everywhere and lacking photos, my apologies.

renaissance faire

Marty and I went to the Ren faire this weekend. It was his first time there...He liked it and we had fun.

Trish, Sandy and Marty go Camping!

Saturday Marty, Sandy and I hiking on the appalachian trail. We made camp and I spent my first full night outside in a tent! I loved it! Can't wait to do it again! This was a backpacking trip, first time I went to the "bathroom" outside since I was under 10. This trip also taught me I need to buy my own outdoor clothing.
